When calculating your increase in taxes, you would take your total value minus the $125,000 allowance. This is your taxable amount. That amount is what your property taxes would be calculated on for the bond.
For Example
A house has an Appraised Value is $400,000.
The house has a homeowner's exemption of $125,000.
The Taxable Amount with the exemption is $275,000
So. at $275,000 -- that is TWO $100,000's (yes, almost 3).
The $352 tax is multiplied by 2 -- (since that's how many $100,000's - yes, almost 3).
The APPROXIMATE annual tax increase in this example would be around $900.
And another thing, TALK TO THE TF County Appraisal Department! There may be a way to have your home reappraised, maybe your homeowner's exemption wasn't applied correctly, or you may qualify for the circuit breaker exemption.
